Being a dad with 2 young gals can be a lot of fun.
Tonight, after swim practice, I'm taking them to the Fall Festival Party at their Elementary School. Should be fun! (I just stand there, ready with the cash, for their next treat, LOL).

Anyway, with it getting clear out (in PA, USA) looks like a prime time for some hayride's and other fun Fall events. I'm glad I waited to have kids until I was 40 (young wife) as they keep me moving and keep me young at heart.

Anyone else have some cool Fall Festivities planned for the weekend?

Oh yeah, started sanding off the first coat of varnish on the dining room, living room, and entrance hallway then said to heck with it.
Took the wife and 2 girls to the pig races, a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, corn maze and then off to a nice, tasty dinner.
Sunday I finished the sanding, cleaned the floors with a rag and turpentine, then put on a coat of gloss polyurethane that now shines like glass.
Polished the headlamps on my car, dug out a stump in the front yard, then drove a bucket at the range, went to get dirt, dug around where the stump was, added the new soil, mixed and prepped for a new seasonal garden. All while the girls went on a play date/birthday party.
After the yard work, I treated myself to fajitas and a few corona's, then went to see the movie "Real Steel."
It was great, I had the whole theater by myself.
Yessir, a great Fall-fest weekend fer shure!
