Called to the Principal's office after work today.
Turns out they just hired an English teacher and I have to move into another classroom.
Damn, I just moved into this one last month, WTF!
That one was across the building and down one floor, this one is back up one floor.
Totally fucked, well, not totally, just fucked.
If I can move this many times in this building, why can't I just move to another job? Seriously!
I've been in this building for 7 years and have been in 2 or 3 different rooms each year. Get's old is all.
That's what I get for having 9 teaching certifications and a Principal Cert.
My father-in-law said I'm like an old baseball player; still in the game, can play any position, always shows up, and too valuable to get rid of.
Principal told me at 4:15 and I have to teach my full load tomorrow, move into the other class and start teaching the new courseload on Thursday.
Hmmm, well it is better to be teaching Journalism, Law and Current Issues to seniors than English II to 10th graders.
Plus, he also said I would be doing an Administrative task during 7th period but didn't mention what it is.
Hoping for the best, maybe I can use my Principal Certification after all.
Grease up the wheels, start f-ing moving!
Oh, and on a good note, I went to the gym and did 90's for 10 on the flat bench dbell press, a first since 2003, so it isn't a total loss.
