For some reason today any program I open(including internet explorer), is taking me to that "Open With" pop up where I need to select which program to open the file with. Weird because non of these programs are new. I got the IE to work, but other programs simply don't open. I've selected all different types of programs to open these with and nothing is working. Any ideas of what it is happened? I can't download and install anything right now, nor open any of my old programs.

What I do if my computer starts doing weird shit is restore it to a fews days back when it was ok.

ok..what if you didn't keep any back-ups? Assuming that your PC doesn't do that automatically

if you have windows XP, it automatically keeps restore points, and it is completely UNDOABLE if it does not work bro, trust me, and try it

how do I do it?

press 'f8' when you boot up i think and select the option 'restore to...'

go to start then accessories then system tools and system restore.

see the option. When I click on it, it takes me to that dam screen "choose program to open file". Bastard lol

if I go F8 when booting up my PC, which option do I go to? I saw an option that said restore to last functioning Windows configuration. It gives me no date though. Will any of my files be deleted?

What options does it give you?

apperently it's all programs tagged with .exe

The recommended Programs are not even in the same ball park lol. We are talking IE, iTunes, winZip etc.. It has something to do with the .exe files
