whats up people. I have been having this prostate issue for as long as i can remember, at least 6 years and im young only 21 as of yesterday. I guess i have some sort of prostatitus or imflamed prostate. It burns when i pee and is somtimes almost impossible to pee. It hurts when i bust a nut (ejaculate) and i feel soarness in my urethra after ejacualting. I also dont get erection as much and i think this prostate issue affects my sex drive.
i have been to a few docs like 4 and about 3 years ago i had a lot of tests done like putting a camera down my shaft and stuff like that, the doc came to the conclusion that i had an imflamed prostate and he put me on cipro, that didnt work and then he put me on a little more and it still didnt help. So i have been to a few docs and they have given me cipro and bactrim and still no releif. I am now on cipro for 2 months and i am about half way through and i see no relief. To make it worse i am now taking straterra for my attention span and its making it almost impossible for me to pee, i dont plan on stopping the straterra cause i feel much better on it so i need to get this prostate shit under controll, elspecially since i want to do my first cycle soon and i cant if i alreayd have a proste issue. thanks for the help

Go to a urologist to get it checked you need to do that before starting a cycle

i have been to like 4 urologists. im not gonna start a cycle intill i get it sorted out, but i dont know what do about it.

If you take any eca stop. Start taking standardized saw palmetto extract 1000 to 1200mg ed as symptoms decrease cut back to 600mg ed from then on.
Try not to use any antihistimines. Regardles of discomfort have frequent sex or masterbate.
When you start a cycle use an anti-e as excess estrogen can inflame prostate tissue.
Saw palmetto works as an anti inflamatory specific to prostate tissue.
A side note about cipro, it weakens tendons and makes a person more prone to tendon ruptures.

well i dont plan to cycle intill i get this under controll. do you think the saw palmetto will help conidering i havent used steroids yet? I feel like im neve gonna get this under controll considering ive had it for over like 5-6 years.

If I were you i would get on saw palmetto asap and contimue on it. Also insure that you get 50mg of zinc from supplements each day as well.

Because it works as an antiflamatory specific to prostate tissue. It also works very effectively.

oh okay will the results be permanant? or just while im taking the saw palmetto. I thought it worked by blocking dht.

Saw palmetto does not work by blocking dht, finasteride blocks dht. You can't cure bph with saw palmetto you can only relieve symptoms.

do you think i have bhp or prostasitus. im only 21.

They go hand in hand, bph left untreated often leads to prostitis which is a bacterial infection of the prostate. Prostitis requires antibotic treatment, age is not necessarilly a deciding factor. I started with bph as a teenager which often lead to prostitis until I started taking liberal doses of SP. Antihistamines are the worst for my prostate the eca's. Test and other aas seem to have little effect as far as I'm concerned, in my case anyhow.

ok thanks for the help. I started taking straterra and now my urine stream is almost non existant, if it got any worse i dont think i could pee. Lifts iron do you still take sp to controll your problem or did it go away? Did you notice any like pressure or like a swelling in your testicles, or a slight burning in your urethra?

ok thanks i ordered now foods sp and im gonna start as soon as i get it, how long you think till i see results?

Finish the cipro but for the next six weeks lift lighter with more sets and reps as cipro weakons tendons and connective tissue, there have been well over two thousand ruptures attributed to cipro use. The saw p. takes a few weeks to fully kick in.

im thinking about just stoppping the cipro now because i have been on it for like a month and a half and it hasnt done much. I can really tell thou cause my straterra is making the prostate problem worse, i defianlty experince retrograde ejacualtion. I think i might stop the cipro cause i have a herniated disc and the next step to correct the pain is to have a cortizone shot in my back and they wont give it to me if im on cipro. so i might just stop it and continue it later.

I'm not intending to give you medical advice but personally I would get off of this shit.

Clinical Studies
Lilly demonstrated Strattera's effectiveness in treating ADHD with data from six placebo-controlled clinical studies, involving children, adolescents and adults. So far, more than 4,000 patients have taken Strattera in all completed and ongoing clinical trials, some for as long as two-and-a-half years. Strattera comes in a capsule and can be taken once or twice a day. Strattera is the first ADHD medication proven clinically effective in adults.

"Strattera is unique, because of its different mechanism of action for ADHD; it's the first noncontrolled medication indicated for the treatment of ADHD. It provides full-day relief of ADHD symptoms without causing insomnia in most children and adolescents," said Thomas J. Spencer, M.D., associate professor of psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, and assistant chief, Pediatric Psychopharmacology Research Program, Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Spencer is one of the initial investigators to conduct clinical trials with Strattera.

How Strattera Works
Strattera, a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, works differently than any other FDA-approved ADHD treatments. It's not known precisely how Strattera reduces ADHD symptoms. Scientists believe it works by blocking or slowing reabsorption of norepinephrine, a brain chemical considered important in regulating attention, impulsivity and activity levels. This keeps more norepinephrine at work in the tiny spaces between neurons in the brain.

Strattera should not be taken at the same time as, or within two weeks of taking, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or by patients with narrow angle glaucoma. Patients with a history of high or low blood pressure, increased heart rate, or any heart or blood vessel disease should tell their doctor before taking Strattera. Strattera has not been tested in children less than 6 years of age. Some children may lose weight when starting treatment with Strattera. As with all ADHD medications, growth should be monitored during treatment.

Most people in clinical studies who experienced side effects were not bothered enough to stop using Strattera. The most common side effects in children and adolescents were decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, tiredness and upset stomach. In adults, the most common side effects were problems sleeping, dry mouth, decreased appetite, upset stomach, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, problems urinating, and sexual side effects.

ADHD
ADHD affects 3-7 percent of school age children, making it the most-commonly diagnosed behavioral disorder of childhood. It manifests itself in levels of attention, concentration, activity, distractibility and impulsivity that are inappropriate for the child's age. A growing body of evidence suggests a biological cause and a genetic link for the disorder, and experts estimate up to 60 percent of children with the disorder continue to have symptoms as adults.

"Left untreated, ADHD can have significant negative consequences, and not just at school or work. It also affects social and family situations, as well as self-worth," Dr. Spencer said.

Although ADHD in adults is not widely recognized, experts estimate 4 percent of adults, more than 8 million people, have the disorder. Most adults with ADHD go undiagnosed and/or untreated, in part because it is perceived as a childhood disorder, and in part because of concerns about giving controlled substances to adults.

"Adults with ADHD tend to have lower rates of professional employment, more frequent job changes and lower self-esteem. These serious consequences, both personal and professional, highlight the need for effective treatment of the disorder," said Lenard Adler, M.D. Dr. Adler is a psychiatrist and director of the Department of Neurology, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Program, and associate professor of clinical psychiatry and neurology at the New York University School of Medicine.
