[Yea, I'm sure. The Endo gets worried if my readings are 17.6 and 51.9. I only go to here when I'm off season. Because than she will tell

The average RBC has a lifespan of 110 to 120 days. While this is slightly different for all of us it should take an average of 3-4 months to see a change in RBC and HCT.

In adults, 2-3 million new RBCs are produced per second and released into the abundant capillaries of the bone marrow and 2-3 million old RBCs are broken down per second. Aged RBCs are removed from circulation by macrophages that ingest them in the spleen and liver. The iron is recycled from the dead RBCs and then transported back to the marrow, where it is incorporated into new RBCs.

Good feed back.

Not really true it does take that long for them to die yes but when you lower the test dose your body stops making as many and you still have the old ones dying. After about a month you should see it drop

OK, I will post my individual testing over a period of 3 years time when I decided to turn my TRT over to my doctor. Again, we are all very individual. So let's see if that was true in my case.

1-01-22
My doctor started me off at Test cyp 150mg every 10 days. I warned him that that was too much but my RBC and HCT were normal at the time and my testosterone was 321.

4-8-22
Testosterone 2103
RBC - 6.42
HCT - 58

So my I dropped my dose to 100mg every 10 days My doctor also had me do a blood dump 1 x a month

10-17-22
testosterone 839
RBC - 6.14
HCT - 57

OK,, 6 months later I saw RBD drop0.3 points and HCT a 1 point drop with blood dumps and a lower dose of test Cyp

1-17-23
testosterone 549 every 10 days
RBC - 5.65
HCT - 53.9

So, I stopped the blood dumps as I saw they did little to help and were causing my ferritin levels to drop....and dropped the test cyp all together and switched to Testosterone undecanoate 60mg x 5 But it took a year of work to drop RBC - 1point and 3 points with doing blood dumps.

2-23-23
testosterone 839
RBC - 5.33
HCT - 51

12/24
testosterone 986
RBC - 5.33
HCT - 50.09

After my doctor fucked up my TRT and caused my RBC and HCT to hit all time highs, it took me 3 years to get it back to a point most would consider normal. Even with dropping the dose, it took almost a year to see any significant change in RBC and HCT, that was in combination with blood dumps once a month. It takes a while to change these things which is why it is so important to not start off with high doses and instead slowly work from the bottom end. Most doctors don't understand this and want to put everyone on that 150mg every 7 days with 1mg of anastrozole. I have been doing anabolic steroids for about 43 years now an don TRT for maybe 15 years. I should have never trusted a doctor to do this for me..

3 years (most of 2024 it has been stable)
RBC - 1.09 drop
HCT - 7.91 drop

I see. I never got over 54 Hemcrit. on my heavy cycles. I'm sure before I cared. I could have been your numbers. 6 months wow. But those numbers. I can see why.

It is important if you are ordering your own labs. To keep 60-90 days in mind. As it will be hard to know otherwise if your blood readings are in this timeline. Most Endos will set up your labs 60-90 days depending on your results and may ask you to stop if levels are too high. My endo if I', .05 over she will tell me to wait for 14 days and redo labs. I think she is to the extreme. But she is the author of the script and I need the scripts in US. I don't know anyone with perfect labs on trt. Everyone is different.
