Yeah that not a smooth move. Florida concealed permits don't apply in New York, and it is illegal to carry a gun in an establishment selling booze anyway.

What the hell is wrong with these athletes? They have everything and throw it all away.
 
Hell i have a new york state carry permit and my permit is not legal in nyc once i cross into nyc i am breaking the law.

Antonio Pierce is an idiot also for taking the gun back to plexico's house. He should of just said he did not know he had it. Now he also broke the law because he possessed and carried it across statelines which is a federal crime.

If you ask me missing pierce is a bigger hit for the giants he is there defensive captain.

It is only a crime in certain states. For example, I can concealed carry in the following states since I have a Virginia Resident Permit:

Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Florida, Michigan, South Carolina, West Virginia
 
New jersey has strict gun laws also and once you cross state boundaries while commiting a felony it becomes federal

I just don't get it. If you have to go to a place that's so bad that you have to carry a gun, then dont go to that place! If you insist on going, you have enough money, hire a private security guard. Man these guys are so unbelievabley dumb!!!

Now he's looking at a manadatory 3.5 years in prison, up to 15 years in prison. He's gonna get no breaks. Mayor Bloomberg is making sure of that with the press conference he held about this situation. Buress is DONE!!!!!!

He just wanted to play the role of a gangster type, well he may get to live the life of a gangster in prison.
 
Well recently an artical came out in ESPN magazine where a bunch of NFL players came forward and talked about problems they had that led them to want to have guns around

It ranges from bigger named guys like fred taylor who is quoted in saying "it just makes u feel safer"

all the way down to a no name texans corner who had his house broken into in broad daylight by a guy who said the only reason he wasnt going to kill him and his family was because he was a good football player

I understand how it seems, but put yourself in these guys shoes for a second. I personally know where 50+ NFL players live for one reason or another.

So just imagine who else knows where these guys live, and who else has intentions of robbing a NFL player, or any high payed athlete for that matter

And that even gets extended to the guys who just so happen to know where hot spots are were NFL players go...

Some guys im pretty good friends with, and I asked them the same question, because some of them do own guns

Basically what they say is its hard enough to be famous because it makes it hard to go about normal life and do normal things, they dont want to complicate things even more by having people follow them around all the time
 
I can understand having a gun in your home unlicensed but when u carry you put urself up for all sorts of bad situations. I have my carry permit and i do not carry it stays in my office because i don't want the responsibilty of carrying it is a big responsibility. Your a celebrity what is cheaper hiring an attorney to beat a charge or paying a bodyguard.
 
Maybe they can put him in a cell with Vick.
Their combined IQ's would be an even 65.

How are your going to hold a loaded gun in the crouch "area"(im assuming) and not have at least the safety on is beyond me......Some of these athletes just think that they are above the norm....They wont get caught, or they can get out of it if they do get caught...Whether its drugs, gambling, guns, whatever.....Most these guys have not ever worked a "job" in there whole life.....Its been about there talent and fame....They dont realize what a priviledge it is to make the kind of money they do while playing a game for a living, and they take everything for granted....Not all athletes are this way, but a lot are.....
 
he was carrying a glock. GLocks do not have safety there has been quit a number of instances where glocks have gone off by accident

First rule or picking up a firearm, check the chamber to see if it is loaded.
