Of all the goddamn bullshit things to come up at this busy time of year. I got a summons from the federal court for jury duty. I have to report 7:30 am this morning. I hope that I don't get picked:fawk2:
 
That SHIT is the WORST! good luck brother, never comes at a good time.
 
Just go in and tell them your a racial SOB and love roids and they will send you home..lol

I had to sit there all morning and never got called on for shit. They had 90 people come in to fill 12 spots. At least I live in town, some had to travel a couple hundred miles.
 
That's easy to get out of. Just tell them you're very capable being fair unless the defendant is ghey or black or red or etc
 
I tried saying that I was a cop for 11 years before moving here but that didn't seem to work well. So I just accidentally got there late the next day.:wiggle:
 
One of the few times in life when being a repeat offending convict pays off.
 
When you have to be a juror here it's not easy to get out of it unless you are ill or don't speak the language ....
 
I'm actually not sure how many times I've been called to jury duty but I've only gone once. I didn't get picked, wasn't paid for my time and I probably wont go again. If I do and I get to talk to a lawyer, I'll just tell them how corrupt the judicial system is...

This was federal court, you show up or face a 1k fine.
 
I just go unless I have to be out of country or otherwise out of area due to job.
 
You can always tell them you have a felony on your record. Jurors can't have any felonies.
 
I am against racism... but if you make a few judgmental comments to the interviewer, I am sure they will not pick you.. atleast I sure hope so.. :/
 
Im with Buff on this one ,,,,I have never been called upon for Jury duty , probably all the shit I did in my younger days keeps them from calling me back into a courtroom ....
Besides that , just my appearance lets them know im not the jury duty kind of guy .
 
I scare people just walking into stores. The cash register people automatically throw their hands in the air and say take what you want, just don't hurt anybody

I got myself a jury summons for the end of january. I got picked my last time through. Fender bender turned $200k civil lawsuit.
 
From here on out, i'm just going to throw those summons away when I get them in the mail. If they say anything....'I never received shit.' Almost everybody I know has been doing this for many many years (out here in cali) and nothing ever happens to them.

I just went this past aug/sept, and it, like it always does, blew ass. I made my mind up after this last time I was just going to throw them away from now on. lol
 
I never get picked.

college educated white suburbanite who has had a car stolen, my house broken into and been robbed at gun point.... all by minority perps....... they dismiss me in the first round all the time....
