Damn, just busted my ass all weekend moving stuff out of the house, cleaning this, doing that. Been at it for almost four months and getting down to the wire. After we clean it tomorrow night we are outta here. Get the key to the new house on Wednesday. Staying at the in-laws til then, hmmm, guess I can handle two nights. My kids will be there, so, yeah.
This house is spooky tonight. I hear noises and shit, damn cat, scaring the crap outta me! Well, I hope it's the cat!
Man this place is lonely. Wife and kids went to her dad's, I'm here with the cat. I worked until midnight and finally got a shower, now I have to write some Individual Education Programs for three Special Education kids. If I'm lucky, I'm get to bed by 2AM.
Tomorrow the movers come, it's bare-bones now, they'll be done in a jiffy (just the heavy stuff).
Fridge is cleaned out, the cat is scared, and I'm in limbo; not here, not there. There's a lot to look forward to, but the passings in life are difficult. I lived in 13 different homes and had 16 sets of parents by the time I was 17. I've moved double that since then.
Now it's a single family home, full grown trees, two car garage. Hope I'll stay awhile this time.
