When my knees or elbows act up I dip them in windex bro. And soak for 10 minutes per joint.

I use jointment sport from Universal. It is cheap and effective. I think kent has some stuff too.

I take like 4TBS of flax a day lol...The left knee bathers me a bit. But then again I did have surgery on it. It just aches every now and then..

Jointment sport it is cheap and effective bro, especially if you start jiujitsu you will want it for sure.

No problem. You won't be disapointed it takes a month or so to start feeling the true effects.

i was havin alot probs with my elbow & goes4 metioned flax & its def helped out alot

I get a supp. at Trader Joe's.

It has Gluc./Chond./MSM....I take 4 tabs daily (2 doses).

For these types of supps. it takes months to notice anything....but if you can stay on year round...you will notice a big difference.

im young, so i dont take anything for joints yet, but i here that flax works well........

Try taking 8-10 capsules Beverly Joint Care every day. Joint Care contains Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM, as well as Vit C & E, manganese, boron, and evening primrose oil, which is now being praised as a wonder supp for sore joints. These come in big gel caps, and seem to work far better on rotator cuff and elbow soreness than any other glucosamine supp I've tried. 3 capsules contain 1000mg Glucosamine sulfate.

I have found flax oil even more important than glucosamine for sore joints and tendons. Ever since Lakeville Thor convinced me to try 5 tbs per day, my elbows and rotator cuffs have been pain-free. Works like magic, and effects are noticeable soon after you start taking it. Plus, there are a multitude of nutritional benefits to be found in flax oil. I now take 4 Joint Care a day and 3-4 tbs flax as a maintenance dose.

Below is a post from Andrew Thorssen at BB.com. He is an abnormally strong young powerlifter and often rails against the norm...but he's usually right.

Look,

I am going to cut through the bullshit here. Literally EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT I HAVE TOLD TO TAKE FLAX OIL AT 5 TABLESPOONS DAILY HAS COMPLTELY GOTTEN RID OF THEIR JOINT PAIN (this is about 25 people)!!! In addition, to again reiterate my point, for the last week I intentionally did not take any flaxseed oil at my normal dose of 5-7 tablespoons daily. Guess what? I could hardly squat yesterday because my joints hurt so bad. I also lost 4 pounds. I bet within a week they will be feeling great again due to the lubricating oil.

Two of the success stories will follow:

My mother in law (well, basically) has fibromyalgia and diabetes. Her joint pain has gone down significantly since she started taking flaxseed oil (3 tablespoons for her).

Also, my buddy George who I lift with when I am in MN hasn't been able to squat for 5 years (he's 41) - he is 5'10'', 265. I would say he's around 13% bf - a freakshow no doubt. ANyway, since he started taking flaxseed oil at my doses, he is squating again.

Seriously people, I am not lying about this. Try it if you have joint pain.

glucosimine works but u have to stay on it,flax just gives #2's real bad,may work for some?

A real ggod glucosamine complex is the best.......
Also, as far as joints, all depends which ones as far as what you can do.. For the elbows, you can use some type of liniment oil/gel prior to working out; and also use an elbow sleeve.. this helps keep the elbow warm and blood flow to the area while training.... As far as post workout, try ice and anti-inflamms..........
