I swear some of sites I have been visiting have been killing me. LOL They are non-BBing related sites but they have Fitness sections to them.

I have been getting reamed for mentioning cardio in the A.M. on an empty stomach. They made it off to sound like you would shrivel up an die from muscle loss.

Then I have the ones that tell me I need to run and my knee problem is from improper form while running. LOL.

Then the latest is that you can combine carbs/fats/protein in the same meals. You dont need to structure your meals either carbs/protein or fats/protein. It makes no difference how you structure your meals and I am wrong.

I just needed to vent. LOL.

i remeber a few years ago i mentioned that i did cardio on an empty belly & people laughed 2 :(

alright!

Let them fuks figure it out for themselves stout. They'll come around before long...;)

you know I think every question can be answered by a topic DC and IA wrote about before...and that's making shit complicated lol. You don't need to...people need to stop over-analyzing stuff

combining low gi carbs + a little bit of good fats shouldnt do any harm at all -- fats should lower the GI even

my exact thoughts........a little good fat in every meal is what I do it does slow down carb absorbtion and lowers gi........but the only carbs I have ate for like 4-5 weeks now is oatmeal, and it is low gi anyhow

I eat steak year around. It just depends on your body and if you can get by with it. I know a few people that have tried eating steak during a strict diet and it kept them from getting super lean. But on the other hand it doesnt do that from my experience. I think if you get it lean cut you'd be fine. Maybe try throwing that in EOD for your diet and see how it goes.

HA, my metabolism sucks then. I am fighting the fat with just oatmeal and chicken breasts.

I assuming it's going to depend on how lean of steak you're eating... I can't imagine animal fat is good for you. Are you still with IA stout?

Yeah, this thread was more merely directed at this other site I been at. I tried helping someone out and tell them how to structure their meal plans.

I told them to make meals either pro/carb or pro/fat. Don't combine the carbs and fat together. Whole grains, lean meats, blah blah blah. You know, just the basic info. I basically got laughed at.

It's cool... at my boxing forum I go to 90% of them are all sorts of fucked up on how to train/diet, etc.. Not even worth trying to help out... oh well
