Meniscus replacement Question

I had a partial Meniscectomy(inside left) about 15 years ago , but have had discomfort with the afflicted area every since .

Has anyone ( or know of anyone) had a Meniscus replacement and if so how have you/they recovered.

I know a few people, they seem to well with the replacement. In fact one guy I know who had both ACL's replaced with cadaver tissue was doing a little over 1k on the leg press the other day.
