It came out yesterday that Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid son died from a heroin overdose however reports are surfacing that they found 19 vials of an uknown liquid subtance along with 47 syringes and 64 needles. They are doing testing to find out what the liquid is. I have a feeling this is going to come out as steroids. He was trying to recover from his addictions and found weight training as a passion to really help him. Which I can see how living a fitness lifestyle would clean up other bad habits. He also started to work as a trainer for the Eagles. You know the media is going spin this if it comes out.

I can see the story now... 3 pages of how steroids are bad and dangerous and how they are to blame with one sentence about heroin being the cause of death.

Exactly and if the story goes national you will see pressure build with him working for the Eagles. 19 vials ha might have been hooking some players up.

Steriods are an easy target as pharmacuetical companies have giant lobbies. After tha Lance Armstrong stuff in the news, this could be the next big "push" for the powers that be to "save the humans from themselves."
Meanwhile, heroin, I imagine, is easy to get. Unfortunate all around.
