She is really growing up fast.
Do we have to work so much?
Why do job issues cloud my life so much as to block out the blessings?
Took my 9 year old to gymnastics tonight.
She's really gutsy but still has trouble doing forward and back rolls. I told her it was my fault because she has my back configuration, but, that's probably why she's such a natural at swimming. Hell she's good at every sport she tried: swimming, soccer, softball (took second at the tourney in the round-the-base sprint) gymnastics (best on the bar). She is also smart. Just got her report card yesterday and it only had 4 checks (satisfactory) on it, the rest of the marks (about 40) were advanced. She is currently reading the 4th Harry Potter novel, is at the top of her reading level, and the teacher wants to put her in the gifted program. She plays the viola and asked me tonight if she could join the chior in January. Really something else.
She is a cutie.
With all the crap going on in my life, I just want to stop the world and enjoy Christmas moments with my wife and kids.
Rambling...sober...sore from a workout...and tired.
AAAHHHHH, daddy's gonna sleep like a rock tonight.
No school tomorrow, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
