Today I did flat bench. My grand daughter was my training partner. She got distracted and was making dirt cakes on old weider 5lb weights and a frisbee lying around.
I went up to 505, hit two reps (not power reps but controlled). I didn't notice myself but I must have been making some type of grunting noise because after the set she looked up from the dirt and said "gampa, you okay?"
She sounded just like her grandmother. Apparently it's hereditary for females in my family to misinterpret the sounds of victory. It probably sounds more like the agony of defeat.
