I was involved in a car accident (not my fault) and it produced a bulging disk in my neck at C 4-5 area according to MRI studies..I now have pain radiating down both arms and some numbness in my left arm at times. I go to see a neurosurgeon soon.

I can not train, cant work, and my left arm in particular is throbbing like a tooth ache.

Its really starting to SUX.. :thumbsdow Good thing the guy had insurance..In T.N. many do not have car insurance because its not mandatory..Ive had to get a lawyer and everything..Now I'm getting a stabbing pain in my right wrist. Its getting old..

Go to a chiropractor that is versed in a the Mckenzie Protocol. He/she can show you the proper exercises to help reduce the bulge.

I had a bulging disc in my C6-C7 level. I had the same problems as you had, numbness and pain in my left arm. My seventh nerve was being pinched. I ended up rupturing it into my spinal cord and had to have an emergency fusion Jan.'04 because it caused temporary paralysis of my left side, it was scary shit. I now have a titanium plate in my neck and I have recovered fully. I was only out of the gym for 10weeks after the surg. Be careful, don't do as I did and not listen to the doctor, as he told me not to train.
