So I'm at the gym the other day and this guy asked me what I daily wotkout was. I told him I lift 3 days a week (M,W,F) and do cardio every day for an hour going extremely slow on days that I lift. He said I was doing too much and need a day of rest. I don't feel like I do, I've been doing this routine for the last month and have been fine. By fine I mean my endurance has increased my strenght has increased, and my workouts have not been effecting my daily energy. On the other hand I am on test 300mgs a week and ephedria, could this be the reason for me not feeling over trained and should I give myself a day of rest even if I feel like I don't need one?

My experience with test is just that ..
endurance, strength, and desire to do MORE.

But that doesn't mean you should be listening to some Know-It-All at your gym.

I don't see anything wrong with what you're doing.
You're only lifting 3 times a week .. the cardio is almost irrelevant in my opinion.
What's the difference if you're on an elliptical for 60 minutes or you're shooting hoops with your friends for 120 minutes .. but don't go to the gym?

Cardio is cardio whether you're at the gym or not.

Only lifting three days a week and someone said that's too much? He must have been referring to your cardio, which even if you did it 5 days a week, at a slow pace I don't think you're doing too much at all. I think you're fine. Don't let someone at the gym tell you when to give your body rest

Bro, your fine. But if if still want to know just cut your cardio back and see if anything changes. When "on" i i feel cardio 6 days/wk helps me more then hurts me. I have a bigger appitite.

Listen to your body....if you are making gains then stick with it.

because he was co mr runner up (insert state here) back in 82'

every gym has these guys lol

I would think he would tell everyone on this board they are overtraining. You know, I don't even talk to people in the gym anymore cause you don't know how many times guys will try to ask for my advice and then they tell me "we'll so and so said do it this way" I am like, "why the fuck did you even ask me then" and usually the advice they take is always the easy way.
