WTF... Cezar Chaves on the 20 $, "languages for the world's largest economies", " a small portion of the bill to be used for promotional purposes " And no in god we trust !!!

money wouldn't seem right not being green. I do think a change in material might be a good idea since i think it costs a good deal to keep replacing cash that is falling apart.

And no in god we trust !!!

It wouldnt be the first time, early 1900's currency had no "in god we trust" due to Teddy Roosevelts "Personal beliefs" ;)

And paper money is probly no big deal to replace. They just print it off and cut it out.

Changing the subject a bit, but does anyone keep up with current gold, silver, and platinum US coins/bullion being produced today? Nobody ever talks about it so I never knew until I started researching old coins.

Heres the US Gold Eagle bullion.. oz. of gold with a "face value" of $50, but the actual gold being worth $1,200+ :O

The 'Silver Eagle ' coins are the same design, but only worth $20-25 an oz. in comparison.

And the more valuable platinum coins, worth about $400 more than gold per oz.

Moral of the story? Buy some gold and wait a few years.. make some profit (regardless of what happens to US currency value, an ounce of gold is an ounce of gold). :D
