Dudes, had the worst day ever at the Phillies game. This was the first time I ever went to a pro baseball game (OK, don't get out much, whatever).
It was horrible. Paid $12 to park but was given a ticket for the other side of the field, only thing, couldn't get there from this side because they had gates up. I had no choice but to risk a ticket and parked way away from the stadium.
The old black dude at the gate was patting people down, even though he had a metal detector. When I got there he was reaching towards my legs, I said, "I've got a cell phone, a wallet, and a handfull of keys, that's it, and don't touch me!" He mumbled something about "Well if you want in blah blah blah..." and I said, "Use the damn metal detector but don't f-ing touch me!" "Got it?"
Then my ticket wouldn't open the turnsty, WTF? It was the ticket they sent me.
Went there because my 8 year old daughter's softball league was marching around the field. We were supposed to get tickets over right field, but they switched us to left field, so it was walk city just to get to our seats. I circled the stadium twice.
When we went to the car, I noticed my left side mirror was broken, damn. I thought some idiot didn't know how to park, but nooo, there was a distinct fist smudge on the mirror. Someone punched it.
I've been fuming ever since. Now it's over $100 bucks to get it fixed.
It's the wife's car and is a 2007. She's fuming as well, then had the nerve to say, "Did you do it because you were upset we got here late?"
I stuck my fist against the mirror and said, "Yeah right, that's why my fist width is almost an inch wider than the distinct smudge."
Couldn't believe she would even think I would do that, ridiculous. Wow, 10 years and she doesn't know me from Adam.
Philadelphia sucks, no wonder people don't like going to their professional sports venues.
Total waste of a day!
