...for bodybuilding to make a statement and move on in the right direction. The Atlantic City Europa is going on, and it looks like it's down to Cedric & Branch. They are both dialed in, and you couldn't have two more opposite physiques. IMO, this show shouldn't even be CLOSE. Cedric has an awesome physique with beautiful classic lines, then you have, well - Branch. Not hatin' on Branch, but hey gotta face facts. If they give this show to Branch, it will just show that the statements Arnold made earlier this year after the AC means nothing to Manion & the judges, and bodybuilding will continue to go downhill. I saw one picture of these two side by side and it's clear Cedric should take this. But it's all politics now a days anyways.
 
The back pics are sooo not even close it ain't funny. IMO it's pathetic that we should even be having this conversation of who will win. One guy looks like a classical statue with a tiny waist, awesome V taper, and fantastic lines - the other looks like a shredded refrigerator. Indeed you are right about politics. I hope the judges do the right thing this time.
 
I was never a big branch fan but he's a beast and he paid his dues I wouldn't be surprised at all if he takes it....
 
Branch is more dry and grainy and his waist looks tighter than it has looked but he is such a mess. From the back his right ham is gone and his left lat is beat to hell. His real double looks melted. Sorry to say but I think Branch is finished here. .
 
AS far as Cedric.. he looks good but he has a weak chin and a goofy face.
 
I think branch is in better condition for sure. And I see Cedric using his hands to hide some weak spots.
Lower back goes to Cedric. Upper back to branch. Side view to branch. I think this may be closer yhan some think. Where one is weak the other strong and visa versa.
But I'm not a body builder and don't really know what judges look at.
 
I think Branch looks good BUT Cedric looks better...he has better lines, better symmetry, and better proportions. I usually don't let other peoples opinions affect mine but Branch does look like a ripped refrigerator like DPH said!!!

Well it goes without saying that Branch is known for his conditioning and dialed in. My point IS at what expense does conditioning play? You take 2 guys - one is in extreme condition (Branch), yet the other guy has classical lines, great shape & symmetry - AND is also in condition, just not so extreme. Has it come down to that we reward the guys who can get to the absolute lowest bf & peeled shape above all other attributes such as shape, symmetry & proportion?

Btw Buf, if you see Branch winning in ANY back shot against Cedric, you better buy new specs brohem haha! :p It's when they turn around to the back that Branch gets owned more than any other pose.

I sort of wish Arnold would use his billions to take Manion and his corrupt horseshit tin empire down.
 
Politics as usual - just found out Branch needed the win to qualify for the O in a few weeks. Ced was already qualified. Chicken shit .

Well that makes sense! Honestly to me the new guys stepping on to the scene are bringing back that old school look and I really like it. The mass monsters have had their time.

Where you hear that? Don't look like he's abusing as much as the others based on his gut. In all honesty, IMO judging from his overall look - face, skin, gut, etc - he looks like one of the more healthy guys up there.

Some stuff Chris Aceto said. Chris was doing a prep for him and the boys at Oxygen pushed him out. Aceto sad something like he is getting some really bad advice and pushing things that could hurt him in the long run. go to youtube and look through the last few iron Debates with Palumbo. I don't recall which one but I have a lot of respect for Aceto.

Yeah Aceto certiainly has a good rep in the game. Thanks - I'm gonna check it out.
