Opened the old school gym. Pics inside!

So, the gym opened Nov 1 at 6 AM. It started slow but we ended up with 26 for the day and it has been a slow trickle but actually had our first member sign up on day one! Not bad considering we are a niche that charges more than most. I wanted 300 members the first day, but we do give 5 day trials to anyone who asks. And there is a small buzz in the iron community and we have received only positive feedback.

I am excited for this next week. We have a way to go however, but all the small things are falling in place. It was also nice to start training again, well I trained Saturday for the first time in two month. Light...super light

Definitely a gym that I would enjoy. The real deal bodybuilder gym. Hopefully it translates well enough to others besides us hardcore guys that you do very well with it. It looks great. Caterpillar yellow gives it a blue collar appeal.

2 squat racks. Very nice. I have to say though, I hate mirrors in front of the squat rack. I look stupid enough without 500+ lbs on my back trying to stand up with it. It makes me laugh and distracts the xrap out if me.

Always appreciate the kind words from my fellow meat heads! I knew I wasn't crazy to think that at least some would like an old school gym. We're about a month in and have 21 members who take what they do seriously or at least hate box gyms. We have the foundation of a really cool community.

We also, have a PR night coming up in January, an official meet in March and a strong man event in May. We are trying to put an emphasis on the culture and get people to feel like they are more than a member.
