i kept promising my little boy i would have a sleep over with him in his room and watch a movie on the portable DVD play--he finally fell asleep about 1100pm and i woke up at about 12am with my back locked up cuz i was sleeping on the floor next to his bed

sucks getting old but i hope he remembers this kind of stuff cuz i sure know my father never did stuff like that with me he was too busy being drunk and gambling

Your a good father Oz, he'll remember stuff like that when he's older, Kinda like these girls do least I hope they do cause I'm right there with you on the back ache!! But mine came from being slammed on the ice while skatting with the kids! lol, I may need a adjustment from the Chiro come Monday?

If he were a member here, I wonder if he would start a thread about having to listen to his ol man snore and fart all night :)

no joke he just told me a few minutes ago "dad i thought i was gonna have to slap your head cuz you snore"

When my kids were smaller we use to blow up an air mattress and "camp" in the family room floor watching TV by the fireplace.

Good job Ozzy!

Your sore back will mend.

The back that bears regret, however,,,thats a tougher fix.

willi i think im starting to like you more and more--you seem very wise

wisdom from mistakes mostly if any wisdom at all.

Your childhoood sounds like mine.

If we can overcome what we went through and give our kids something better... what a huge victory that is.

The strength to overcome what we went through = a 600lb bench press.

600lbs more like 1000lbs

Congrats on the soon new baby.

My little girl is almost 4 and she loves the gym.

May God bless us all!

Ozzy, I'm sure that your son realizes how lucky he is to have you for a dad and the things you do now will be imprinted in his memory for years to come.

When Sarah was about his age, she had a fascination for trains...I had to stop every time we got close to a coming train and let her watch in wonder until it went by. One day I saw an engineer get out of the locomotive and run into the local deli for some snacks. I talked him into letting her sit in his seat and blow the whistle. She brings it up to this day. ;)

Ozzy, I'll bet your wife tells her friends how blessed she is to have a husband like you. That type of devotion flows both ways.
