pre-workout meal

hey could you tell me a quick pre-workout meal? is something like ovaltine and whey mixed good (to get the carbs and pro but also light on the stomach?) or do i need fruit or something.. thanks

What work's for me is oatmeal and 2 whole eggs with 4-6 extra whites.
 
Most people eat 30-60min before a workout. Make sure you have some form of good complex carbs before your workout as well as some protein.
