Guys I called the DRs office today but my DR wasnt in and I spoke with another Dr.I told him my stomach was hurting still and he said the colazal may take a while to work.He told me the prednisone would work faster.I really want to try and stay off the prednisone I know its catabolic.I am on test deca and igf though so im wondering how much will the prednisone hurt if I do have to take it while being on these.2 months is the amount of time he has me on the med.The prednisone has some bad sides I know but I do want my stomach to get better it is hurting and I have had diarreha and passing blood for 2 weeks now.Im afraid that the diarreha and me not being able to eat is going to be harder on me and my gains then the prednisone itself.At least on the prednsione I will get my appetite back and my stomach will feel better so I can eat and keep food down and hopefully after 2 months I can go off and the colazal and me taking supps and following a good diet will keep the colitis away.

I don't believe that predisone over a two month period will severly harm you gains, be careful of injury because your joints will never feel better and your energy levels will be very high. I had to take pred at 60mgs ed for six weeks because of severely inflamed lungs, the main problem was buco water retention.

I sent you a pm bro.They want me to take it 8 weeks and I described my dosing in the pm.The highest dose I have to take is 40mg and thats only for 1 week.

2nd 35
3rd 30
4th 25
5th 20
6th 15
7th 10
8th 5

Sounds like a proper taper dose of pred.....I would go ahead and take it...it will work very fast at relieving your symptoms.

Im going too if I dont im going to keep using the bathroom and waste away to nothing.How long does it take for the pred to start working?

Bro, it's so strong that you'll feel it the first day or 2.
