This is how I have been training for the last couple months.
Split is
I do chest and tri's
biceps and shoulders
back and abs
and legs and abs

4 compound excersizes per body part, 4 sets each with 8 reps per set. I do not rest between sets, or very short 10-15 seconds if it really exhuasts me. Only rest period is re adjusting the weights and walking from one bench to another. At the end of the session, I am covered in sweat, my heart rate is in 140's and whatever body part i was working is burning like a torch.

Obviously I cant lift as much as I used to when I would do one set and completly recover after chit chatting with somebody for 5 minutes but I am gaining muscle mass and strength.

The reason I had to do this was because I dont have much time due to my job and I need to get in and out of the gym in about 45 minutes sometimes. I was not trying to come up with a miracle workout plan out of my ass.

The reason why I think it may work for me is, everytime we have a training session, wrestling, boxing, mu thai etc... its always about one hour of non stop action. Its made for endurance ofcourse.

So what do u guys think?

Its ok if you think its stupid and u can tell me to go back to the mat and leave the bodybuilding to the bigdogs.. :) heheh

Im in the same boat bro, between school and work i got an hour to workout compared to 1 1/2 to 2 hrs i used to have. I been training for mass the past 2 months and have seen better results with the fast paced workout then i ever have with a typical 2-3min rest between each set. If your training for boxing or some kind or endurance sport i think you program is the shit!

that intensity is great for shredding, but not good for strenth. since you have to cut some weight anyways, if it is working for you just stick with it.
