research paper, what do you think

for english, my college prof wants us to write a research paper on whatever we want..he told us to pic something we liked and knew something about...im thinking of doing body building because thats obvisouly something i love...what do you guys think would be a good approach towards it, for the topic that is...like how to properly bench press, or properly add muscle or lose fat, etc things like that...also anything else besides bodybuilding to write about let me know...but i think i wanna shoot for bodybuilding, im just trying to think of what to write about bodybuilding and what not..

I think it is a good idea to write about something you enjoy. not sure which angle to go though

i think it has to be about the actual topic itself, like explaining something about etc..
