This one will kick your butt a little

Use minimal rest periods and weights that will get you to failure at that rep scheme

Give it a go auger it's is brutal but fun. All the weight/rep schemes are weight should equal failure at that final rep. And with the squats being 20 the weight will be much less then you could imagine.

In my case I did the BHN press with 135 the bench with 185 and the squat 225 for the very first time I tried this I've since adjusted the weights up. The guys that sent me this work out did it EOD for 16 weeks he put on 17 lbs of muscle and added 70 lbs to his squat. I'm doing this for some endurance and of course to see if I can add strength.

The guy that made those gains - just curious what was his level of experience? I'm guessing a n00b or someone that's not been in the game for long. It reminds me of a beginners routine from a mag back in the 70's.

Come to think of it, it looks like an Arthur Jones workout pre-Nautilus days. What books is that from Oz?

He is/was a high level strength athlete when he made those gains he used to be ranked in the top ten in the world for hand strength and I do believe it is from that jones book
