Anyone watch it? Of all the people he couldve lost to I wouldve never thought Werdum.. now maybe he'll come to the damn ufc
 
he is a joke imo.... just saying ill get flamed 4 this.... no i aint a ufc fan boy but its a fact the best fighters are in ufc. fedor has only had a few worthy opponents outside the UFC
 
I actually agree for the most part. Yeah hes fought a prime Nogeira, Crocop, uhh.. Arlovski. Maybe it really is his management that has kept him from fighting better competition. Either way he has one fight left with strikeforce then who knows if he'll retire or what.
 
was a mistake I guess anyone could have made. Just totally surprised me. Hopefully it will mix things up in the HW division more
 
Werdum is the best heavyweight in the game on the ground, you can't downplay his skills. His grappling credentials are second to none.

Werdum wasn't some scrub that couldn't make it in the UFC, he left the UFC on a win. Strikeforce offered him a better contract so he took it.

That said it was surprising to see Fedor lose. In the rematch he doesn't follow him to the ground and ko's him standing then submits reem.

Black do you think GSP is a joke because he got KO'd by Matt freaking Serra? Serra was unranked unlike Werdum who was definitely top 10.

Sorry but Werdum lost his last fight and was cut by the UFC after going 2-2 with his last fight a loss to Junior Dos Santos who totally tooled Werdum. UFC did not offer him a contract.
Granted tho, all Werdums fights in the UFC were against quality opponents.

werdum was on a two fight win streak.

he lost to the totally unknown dos santos a minute into the fight via uppercut which is hardly a 'tooling.'

he beat the holy shit out of gonzaga and dominated vera. in the arlovski contest there was no winner in that 'fight.'

werdum has only fought stiff comp since he turned pro, no gimme fights to build his record.
