Steroid Dealer David Jacobs Shot to Death

I can't understand why he ratted out NFL players - if he was supplying AAS to them, I'm sure he made a good amount of $$$ from them. Just because he got bust he decided to drag as many others down with him!
 
I think there is much more to it than just taking down people with him. The feds have ways of threatening to ruin your life and the ones you love.

bro i kno people doing some hard time cuz they didnt rat out..i dont think feds would fuk with your family like that..think its just a matter of sticking crazy things in your mind such as how harsh and rough itll be spending your time doing 10 years in a penetentary with murders than giving out names and serving only 1-3 years in a county jail

The death of convicted steroids dealer David Jacobs was ruled a suicide today, according to a preliminary report from the Dallas County medical examiner's office.

The medical examiner's initial report shows he died of two self-inflicted gunshot wounds to his stomach and head. Plano police said Ms. Earhart-Savell had multiple gunshot wounds, but the medical examiner's office has not confirmed manner or time of death. The investigation continues.

Plano police also said today they see no conflict of interest in investigating the death of Mr. Jacobs, who publicly accused an officer of stealing from him. Mr. Jacobs never followed through by filing a formal complaint.

?The Plano Police Department will handle this investigation as we do with all of the others,? Plano Officer Andrae Smith said Friday. ?The bottom line is there?s no reason to conclude that we shouldn?t investigate this.?

Mr. Jacobs never filed an internal affairs complaint with the department after he claimed an officer swiped $4,500 in cash from his house during an April 2007 raid. Several police agencies, including Plano police and federal agents, were present when the search warrant was executed.

Mr. Jacobs had also said he believed that federal authorities were investigating. But neither federal nor local police agencies have said they are looking into the allegation.

Mr. Jacobs has also said his network had sold steroids to officers in Garland, Richardson, Dallas, Arlington, and Plano, but he had not publicly named names.

The Plano police, known for a strict by-the-book approach that minimizes slip-ups in major investigations, has not released many details about the shootings.

Police responded to the home after receiving a missing-person call around midnight Wednesday from Ms. Earhart-Savell?s family. The family told police that they had not heard from her and thought that she might be at Mr. Jacobs? house.

After the bodies were found, Plano police officers wearing masks over their faces were seen entering the house and taking evidence away, some in boxes. Police say they were undercover officers who need to protect their identities.

People who know the couple say that Mr. Jacobs was jealous and possessive of Ms. Earhart-Savell. Mr. Jacobs had previously told The Dallas Morning News that their nearly yearlong relationship had been marred by allegations of cheating by both of them.

Officer Smith said investigators have not shared pieces of the case with public information officers. But he added that, to his knowledge, the couple had not threatened each other with harm.

?I don?t have information that leads me to believe that that was a part of this scenario,? said Officer Smith.

In early May, a federal judge sentenced Mr. Jacobs, the one-time ringleader of one of the largest steroids networks in the United States, to three years of probation for running his international steroids network.

Mr. Jacobs also had recently sat down with NFL investigators and provided them names of players to whom he said he sold performance-enhancing drugs, including ex-Cowboys lineman Matt Lehr. Mr. Jacobs also supplied the league with canceled checks, e-mails, text messages and other evidence, saying he wanted to ?clean up? the sport.

Mr. Lehr?s attorney has called Mr. Jacobs? information unreliable and said his client would not be indicted. Federal investigators will only say that their investigation continues.

Mr. Jacobs also said he sold steroids and growth hormone to other NFL players, but never named them publicly.

This is actually a good point. I don't use steroids, but I can completely understand. Nowadays the stuff is done over the internet, you get busted, and decide to be quiet to protect a guy named "crooked shit"? LOL. I don't deal, so it is not an issue for me, but I don't see some internet dealer spending 10-15 years in prison to protect a bunch of people they only know as "bro" and some ridiculous internet name. I guess it could happen though.

I have always said that there is no loyalty in this game because u are ratting on someone you do not even know and know through an internet alias. When u rat on someone in your area you have to live in the community being branded as a snitch. Living in New york being branded as a snitch a license to get fucked with everyday.

His parents contest the ruling.
The girl's parents accept the murder ruling on their daughter.... but are upset that the media is labeling her a "bodybuilder" when they say she was a "fitness competitor"... and that she didn't use any AAS.
I think the coroner's ruling is fishy because there were 10 bullet casings and 6 bullet slugs found at the scene.
He also shot himself in the stomach before putting one in his head... according to the coroner.

Either way, point is, 99.99% of people out there would rat on a person in a minute if it meant the difference between going to jail for 20 years or someone else doing it.

Now, maybe if it was your best friend and you're going down for a crime you both commited, and he just got away and you didn't. Totally different story.
 
that isnt true RJ... i have been in that exact situation and i kept my mouth shut...end of story... you play you pay... its not you play and make everyone around you pay....
 
I have never heard of a suicide ever shooting their self in the stomach???? That doesn't add up imo.

thats a tough decision bro..i guess as it was said above..being on the internet in which you really know no one personally might make you think twice about it..but if done in your neighborhood and your labeled as a rat..most guys wouldnt survive being on the street..especially when your dealing with someones life and putting them in jeopardy..

its kind of like a "who gets caught is the one who gets fuked" play your cards right and you shouldnt get caught but dont rat everyone else out cuz your stupid fuk ups
 
not to get into detail but some dude set one of my best friends wanting to purchase 400 pills of MDMA(ecstacy)in which i was with him that day but told him i wouldnt take him to meet the guy cuz the dude kept fukin blowing up his phone...

make a long story short the guy did it to cut his time in jail and set up my boy...lets just say that guy wont be around for a while bro..

i think yor best bet if you do that shit is to have them put you in protective custody and move away with a different name..some people have to go to those extremes when your fukin around with serious people
 
First thing I thought of when I saw it on the news last night is how the fuck it was a suicide with a shot in the stomach. I cant see anyone being dumb enough to want to try to go out that way. Who knows, maybe it was a part of his plot and shit went wrong. I just cant imaging shooting my self in the stomach hoping it would take me out. Unless he shot him self in the head first and his hand dropped in his lap and the gun went off again. :unno:

sad to say but people were payed well for this one

as far as being a rat everything is subjective, every situation is different but totally agree when push comes to shove everything changes what you might think you will do now could be the complete opposite when it boils down: in this case being a rat got this dude killed

That makes since and actually could happen....Unless he was committing suicide with the idea of making it look like a murder, maybe trying to set someone else up for his murder...who knows...
 
This guy Jacobs tried to worm in on my buddies girl when they were broke up for a few weeks. My buddie basically told him to "eat shit and die" when they got back together. Jacobs stalked my buddy's girl for a little while... then backed off.
Anyway, the latest scoop is this...
Jacob's girl didn't get invited to the Arnold this year... because of her association with Jacobs. She went to get her stuff(and took a pistol because she was afraid of him).
Things got ugly.... he started beating her.
She ran into the bathroom... he beat the door down.... and she shot him in the stomach.
He wrestled the gun from her... and unloaded several rounds into her.
Then he turned the gun on himself.
That's the word going around the Dallas/Fort Worth gyms right now.
