Anyone supposed to have received their payment by YESTERDAY, and didn't? Is anyone going to the irs website, typing in their info and getting the "you made a mistake" message?

i didnt get mine either..

Technically, we are not supposed to get ours until the 9th of May, but my brother called me this morning because his was supposed to be deposited no later than yesterday, and it didn't come. He went to the irs website, typed in his information, and it says he has made a mistake( he didn't, but when you are expecting 2100 bucks, its aggravating as hell)

Were you supposed to receive it by yesterday BLACK?

I got all that was coming to me ..............................

Well, I found out what the deal is. It sucks and it is typical of government bullshit, but here it is. If you used an agent to file your taxes such as HR block, turbo tax, ect, you received a refund anticipation loan( even if you waited the 2 to 3 weeks for it) Now I know these places sell this to its customers as if it is not a refund anticipation loan, but it is. You had your refund direct deposited into your account by a 3rd party financial institution. If this is the case, YOU ARE BEING MAILED A CHECK FROM THE IRS. You can go look at the mailing schedule to really find out when you should receive it. Oh fucking well, I suppose the IRS just forgot to mention this little fact since millions of americans are waiting for this money now, but will need to wait even longer.

Wait a min so your saying if you used a third party vendor using direct deposit and didn't do it yourself your getting your check by mail? not direct deposit? Or are you saying if you asked for a RAL? (Which would make sense because they are a scam to begin with HA) RA loans have had more law suits then anything for predatory lending practices. I have some friends that received their funds already and used H&R however they did not take a RAL.

We use HR block, and we always choose the option to receive our money about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks later. I always thought that this way was avoiding a RAL. These companies sell the RAL by saying you can get it in 24-48 hours, they don't tell you that choosing the option to get it a few weeks later is also a RAL. I am saying if you used a third party vendor and had your original tax refund direct deposited then you are getting your check by mail. People who use turbo tax to do their taxes believe they are doing it themselves, but they aren't. It is free, however, they get their money from Santa Monica Trust, a RAL. This is what my brother did. He thought he had filed his by himself and it went directly to the IRS and the IRS gave him his refund but it was Santa Monica Trust. He should have received his stimulus check no later than yesterday, but he didn't.

H&R Block SUX ................... they are not accountants and a total complete S C A M.

Me and my husband we offered a franchise for $5000.00 and NO ONE needs to be a CPA or an accountant.

Hey bro I am not sure if I am just missing what you are saying in the translation but here is what is funny about this. Last night the US treasury deposited $600 in my bank account and I used H&R TaxCut on the computer. I also was not supposed to get mine until the week of May 16 so its very early. If you use an outside vendor it is not a RAL. From what I know about a RAL it is a high interest short term loan that you need to be approved for and pay fees on. Its something you actually have to apply for. I am assuming your brother chose a RAL or what HR calls a Refund Anticipation Check which is basically a RAL. E-file from H&R block is not a RAL which is what I selected.

Than I am at a loss then as to why he and others have not received. He used turbo tax. I used HR Block, like you, selected the efile option and we had our original refund in about 2 and a half weeks, so I don't know. I am glad to hear you got yours. I still go to the IRS website and type in my information and it still tells me that they have no information about my payment so we shall see. I am not scheduled to receive mine until the 9th anyways, so we shall see. The last two numbers on my SS# are 67. Here are a few explanations I found, maybe it is easier to understand for those who may be wondering where their money is..

Plenty of folks haven't received it yet. Anyone who e-filed after about April 3rd or mailed a paper return after about March 3rd won't be in the first batch of recipients.

Also, if you had your tax prep fees deducted from your refund you'll receive a paper check in the mail in a few weeks, even if the balance was directly deposited to your bank account. That's because the IRS didn't send your refund to YOUR bank directly but to the tax prep firm's partner bank who then relayed it to you.

and another.

Yep, thousands upon thousands, I am sure....
You see, anyone who used a third party tax preparer/service
and had fees taken out of their refund, (for example H&R Block, Tax Act, and others), got a RAL or rapid refund anticipation loan, etc...the direct deposit received then was
actually from that third party preparer/service, and NOT directly from the IRS, which is why now many people are discovering that the "schedule" put out by the IRS is not factual, if the above applies to you. They should update their website to explain this situation, and that anyone in the above situation will now be under the mailing schedule, instead of the direct deposit schedule.

You know I am not sure myself because ever since we started talking about it online here I have been asking around and some people who were supposed to get theirs already have not and then there are others like myself who got it very early. Strange however I would not put anything past the government I hope you get yours soon.

It's the government we're talking about so you just never know when your goign to get anything.

I don't understand why they can' t direct deposit everybodys on the same day? Why do they stager the welfare errrrrr "stimulus" checks out?
