Anyone supposed to have received their payment by YESTERDAY, and didn't? Is anyone going to the irs website, typing in their info and getting the "you made a mistake" message?
i didnt get mine either..
Wait a min so your saying if you used a third party vendor using direct deposit and didn't do it yourself your getting your check by mail? not direct deposit? Or are you saying if you asked for a RAL? (Which would make sense because they are a scam to begin with HA) RA loans have had more law suits then anything for predatory lending practices. I have some friends that received their funds already and used H&R however they did not take a RAL.
We use HR block, and we always choose the option to receive our money about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks later. I always thought that this way was avoiding a RAL. These companies sell the RAL by saying you can get it in 24-48 hours, they don't tell you that choosing the option to get it a few weeks later is also a RAL. I am saying if you used a third party vendor and had your original tax refund direct deposited then you are getting your check by mail. People who use turbo tax to do their taxes believe they are doing it themselves, but they aren't. It is free, however, they get their money from Santa Monica Trust, a RAL. This is what my brother did. He thought he had filed his by himself and it went directly to the IRS and the IRS gave him his refund but it was Santa Monica Trust. He should have received his stimulus check no later than yesterday, but he didn't.
Hey bro I am not sure if I am just missing what you are saying in the translation but here is what is funny about this. Last night the US treasury deposited $600 in my bank account and I used H&R TaxCut on the computer. I also was not supposed to get mine until the week of May 16 so its very early. If you use an outside vendor it is not a RAL. From what I know about a RAL it is a high interest short term loan that you need to be approved for and pay fees on. Its something you actually have to apply for. I am assuming your brother chose a RAL or what HR calls a Refund Anticipation Check which is basically a RAL. E-file from H&R block is not a RAL which is what I selected.
