Is it possible to make it as a pro and compete successfully in bodybuilding - like let's say consistent top 5 placings - in this day & age without any GH and/or peptides? Btw let's leave slin out also - everything else is gtg, ie, AAS, clen, etc. Also, state why.

I think it can be done if someone is really committed to diet & cardio to get shredded when prepping for a show. Adding in alot of posing everyday to harden up & bring the cuts out certainly helps. Gaspari was famous for this, and he was peeled come showtime in an era before GH became the norm, as did a few others. It will take more work than the guys who are running GH, but I see it possible even in this era.

I don't think so unless you can get the judges to reward symmetry and overall balance instead of sheer size, they have accepted the distended abdomen, nothing aesthetically pleasing about it, and yet it is rewarded

its definitely about the judges... if a smaller leaner cut individual finishes higher than a huge les defined guy it would start the dominos

With the current "standards" of bodybuilding, no, not a chance, IMO. Unless they have very special genetics.

No. To do so you'd have to have a super set of genes. Slin especially really packs the size and strength on you unlike anything else.

You could have super genetics but w/o gh you wouldn't stand any chance to hit the top 5 in a pro show. All the other pros also have super genetics and use hgh and juice.

Pretty simple NO you can't be a top five guy without GH/peptides.....today's guys are all monsters and full of gear/GH/slin (even though you asked to it not be considered). Unfortunately this new era of BB is all about how much size can a man pack on to his frame....big ramy looked like shit but placed well because of his mass.

Case in point a very good friend of mine was by far the best guy at a show last year but lost the overall to a guy that had 60lbs on him.
