thanks for the share on the vid

funny how watching that now ... with our brains conditioned to the mass monsters of today .... in many shots many of the guys looks very small and almost anorexic-like

Good to see some of the old faces. I haven't thought about Albert Beckles in years. The dude is still phenominal.

Yeah truly amazing that he was still comepting in the O at 60 years of age!

Nobody back then looked pregnant. Hell I would easily sacrafice an inch on the arms and a few on the chest to have a small waist, compared to being a gorilla with a baby inside.

Funny how Gaspari talked about the huge dosages of roids that many guys used back then - if he only KNEW what was to come haha. Back then, 500mg of test ew was probably a shitload.

88! I was one years old zen and crawling round in nappies lol but great vid

Some of those guys are big boys. I thought 25 years later there would be a bigger difference. But I guess AAS has been around a long time

It's funny but I was thinking how small they all looked, even Haney. And Rich looked like he was sporting 18" arms. It's funny how time and trends change the face of everything. Here was Rich with his 18's and Haney a good deal larger, but then along comes Dorian and Ronnie, then Jay (20+ arms), and the face of body building went from a perception of huge due to symmetry (spelling?) to the realization of huge with monster mass. Maybe Paul Dillet was the missing link in that transition.

Thanks Hank. Those oldtimers had more grace and class than today's monsters. Gaspari was phenomenal!

My kingdom for those days to return. I loved the comradery in the sport. I understand the contestants were just as competitive back then, but there was such a feeling of brothership . I feel that's lost today and it's all about the individual. I don't even enjoy the sport all that much anymore.
