Alright guys I need a little help. I have tendonitis in my right elbow and I went to a doctor and they just told me to take it easy, ice it, and take anti-inflamatories as needed. So I havent been able to lift for two weeks and its driving me insane because all I can do is cardio, legs, and abs and I pretty much hate 2 out of the 3 lol. Do any of you know a good elbow support that I can use so I can get back into the gym. I checked pro wrist straps and they have some but I am not trying to walk around with the big heavy duty power lifter supports on lol. I got one from a local pharamacy but it really limits my range of motion. Any reccommendations?

Bro I got the same thing in my left elbow and it sucks. I took off 3 weeks for it to heal and it did work. I just went up to the local drug store and bought a elbow support which helped. But other than that you will have to try and deal with it.

Which support did you get? the one that is the sleeve or the one that is more like a strap that goes just below the elbow on the forearm. The one I got is more like a strap that goes below the elbow but the problem is my forearm is too big for it and its a one size fits all. It get so tight that my circulation almost cuts off lol.

ive had to wrap my arm with a old knee wrap [ powerlifting ] before . way better than a ace bandage imo.

Use a neoprene knee support - but only when lifting, make sure you get the elbow really warm before any exercise and ice it afterwards.
If you're not taking any joint supps (glucosamine, chondroitin etc) then do so, if you are, double them up.

I took your advice and got a knee support one and was actually able to lift today. It hurt a tiny bit but once warmed up was fine.

Yes it was a sleeve but alos had a strap that wrappd around the elbow for even more support..

Yea the size will matter if your arm is that big it will cause blood flow for sure.

Where exactly are you getting the pain? is it at the end of your upper arm on the back - about an inch from your elbow?

get the APT arm sleeves. they are great and dont limit your ROM lots of extra support.. i have wicked tendonitis in my right elbow too.. ice the shit outta it and eat advil. the sleeves will minimize the issue i would check them out..

skull crushers ruined my elbows, I cut that exercise out even though I love it.

The pain is right where the elbow bends, right neare the veins where a doc would take blood

If this support I have doesnt seem to do the trick then I will deffinately look into it. I ice the elbow when I get home from the gym. The doctor told me to only take Ibuprofin if abolutlely needed because it can cause ulcers. I'm not really trying to add more to the issued lol. Hell I was taking about 16 da day at one point.
