Mid life crisis? I hope so, that means I'll live to be 100.
Seriously, though, car prices are a bitch. Seems like the only things accomplished from the cash-for-clunkers program was: China got cheap steel, the auto indistry got rid of older cars that would normally be bought and sold cheaply, and the auto industry held onto its high-priced replacement grip.
I'm all for helping the auto industry, but I don't live in Detriot, so fuck it.
Might walk down to my neighbors house. He offered to sell me his 1990-something garage-kept Miata last summer. Maybe I need to throw off the shackles of life's weight, and stop carrying so much crap through life. If the kids want to go with me, it's either one at a time, or we will walk.
