This exercise is impossible for me? What do you think?

OK, I am tryng to get to do these and want to know how you'd train to be able to obtain this sort of strength.

Now for the kicker. I'm 280lbs but strong. It'll take time yes, but so many people are syaing its impossible for someone my size.

All these trainers, weightlifters, sports, etc. Someone HAS to knwo something.




Why are al the gymnists folks never on any board. They are ALL just strong and lean as hell with excellent balance.

I want to go in but dont want to tell someone " I train at the gym. The gymnaaaastics gym....."
 
i wonder if i could do that at 156lbs... i know i have the core strength i just dont know if i have the balance. 280 jesus that would be like picking up 140lb dumb bells and doing front military press

I dont know that it is necessarily impossible but which part do you want to do from the pike hold to planche press up to the planche pushups or just the plance pushups? obviously the pushups are the easier of the skills.... when I go to wokr I will send you some links that I use with my gymnasts when I design their workouts....essentially you have to start breaking down that skill and getting strong isometrically in those positions then you have someone start manually helping you go through the range of motion and eventually you should technically be able to do it on your own....but it is quite a skill to master!
 
those look brutal. need some good balance and core strenght. those hanging ab exercises are money though. when you bring your feet all the way up like that they work your abs hard.

unless you are a gymnast what's the point? you trying to impress some chicks?
all the same movements can be done lifting without having to spend years to get the skills of this guy. none of this shit matters unless it pays toward your goal. Are you a gymnast or a body builder?
