here is a good topic in which we'll get quite a bit of difference responses. Which diet(in general terms), is more effective when losing body fat? Most of us here are familiar with a "timed card diet", in which your primary fuel source being fats, and carbs used when most needed(sparingly). Now, a Carb-Rotating type diet is primarily based off carbs in which you rotate (high, low,) depending how your coming along. This is approach is most commonly used with Comp BB'ers. Both are effective, but which point blank is better? Granted, everyone is different, so we are just talking in general terms here. Lets not get to crazy lol. Lets hear it!

ive done both....i still duno ha

i actually found it annoyin 2 increase/decrease carbs every so many days etc....i like the idea of havin carbs right after trainin then again about an hour later....if 4 some reason i dont work out, then its simple, no carbs

im def interested in hearin every 1s oppinions :stupido2:

it's odd, I've always done good on a timed carb diet, but this time around it has taken longer then usual. I always have felt flat when on this type of diet. Maybe next time around I'll try something a bit different..

how many carb up days you doing now buff?

I think my vote would be the rotating carb method. In the end there would be a few drawbacks with timed carb dieting. Consuming low glycemic carbs throughout the day in small portions works better when trying to achieve you goal in weight loss and maintaining (or gaining) muscle.

I would have to agree with you, after 6 weeks on the rotating carb diet, my energy is up, and fat is slowly coming off, I will never diet on low carbs again

Yeah there are just so many advantages of doing it that way. The major problem with the timed carb method that I have is that I think you would loose size in the long run. I just dont see how one could gain muscle in the long haul by doing that. The body cant live off of fat alone and the muscles sure as heck cant.

well in timed carb you are eating 40% fat 60% protein, except after lifts, you get two carb meals, plus one to two carb up days per week. I did have some success with it in the past, but this year, I just hit a brick wall. I think Buffness did as well, now both of us are eating the rotatig carb diet and having good sucess

You mean a timed carb didn't work for you? zGee me either. I wonder who says it is the next best thing besides sliced bread?

well it worked, but I had very little energy to perform lifts, cardio, or any GPP work I was doing, I feel 100% better now

That's good. I mean if you aren't doing a show what is the point in constantly feeling like shit? PLenty of people get cut up without using that method of carb control.
