Too much tuna

First off it's been awhile since I've been on the site, what's up everybody? I was reading an article in the paper today about an actor who ate too much fish and got mercury poisoning. I eat one whole can of tuna everyday. Is tuna high in mercury, if so is a can a day too much to be eating?
 
get the mixed kind, cheaper and you don't have to chew it so much. Just drop it down the hatch and take a drink..
 
Do you think 5 cans a week is too much though? I mean I'm trying to be healthy but never really thought it would be a bad thing to do.
 
I buy the chunk light ever since I read that Albacore is so much higher in Mercury. Wal-Mart has it now @ $.50 a can and I buy 20 or more and drain it, mix it with some red onions, celery and low-fat mayo and make a huge bowl of Tuna Salad which I finish off in about a week. I eat about 12 cans a week or more. Probably not the best idea, but heck bacon causes cancer, pork and beef are hard on the heart and circulation; ya can't give up everything. :D

That's so true everything you do now is linked to causing health problems so fuck it. I guess I'll keep eating fish, just a different kind
