Now i am the last person to make excuses, but i have just been beat this entire week. I have been doing nothing but working, then working on my truck to get my plow ready to go. we're supposed to be getting snow by the end of next week, and i'm not even done with leaf cleanups yet, so i have been busting ass and working on my truck after i get back, chasing down parts, and having to get custom bolts made to reach the crankshaft of my truck now that i added an additional pulley.

it just sucks, and it is so emotionally draining, i literally don't have it in me to lift, because i am so stressed out trying to get this shit done on time, and still take care of everyone before the snow. I can't even concentrate on anything else. I slept like shit last night because all of this is the only thing on my mind, right now. If i'm not ready to go i am going to have a a lot of pissed off customers. Just needed to rant a little, but i hate doing this shit.

I hear ya bro - we all got responsibilities - but hey at least your working

"Dig deep, while sluggards sleep,
and you'll have wheat to have,
and wheat to eat."
A WWI saying.

Don't worry, a week off will set your maxes back a bit
but your joints and tendons always appreciate a rest.
But what do I know, I haven't trained in two months this week.
Restrained an old forearm injury and decided to take a rest,
then I got an early case of flu or cold, whichever, then was swamped with job and graduate school responsibilities, and, oh yeah,
had to prep the house for the winter, plus kids birthdays last month,
and on and on.
Guess what, my forearm bothers me just as much now, I'm not sick anymore, the house still needs _________________, and grad school is almost wrapped up for the semester, so I might take a trip back this week, but I'm not going to sweat it because I've learned one thing in my 30 years experience as a weight lifter, that is:
"Once you gain it, you got it, and even though it may shrink, when it pumps back up, there it is, smaller, yet there and ready to grow again."

Give yourself a break, bro, and sow that wheat!

Dig it. Could be outta work like myself dude, so don't let it get ya down. Much better to take off than to go in there, kick it half ass and possibly injuring yourself from not being mentally into it. One week off ain't shit. More than likely you will be stronger when you come back after a week off. Just try to eat right at least, so when you DO come back, you are stoked to fuck the iron up! :)
