Hey everyone, I'm new here to premier muscle and i have a few questions about a diet. Right now i weigh 182, 6' tall, 21 years old, and i've been lifting for about 2 years on and off. I've put on around 10-15 pounds since i started 2 years ago but i want to gain more. I'm going to buy bsn's mass builder, with the nitrix, cellmass, and explode. I eat around 3000-3500 calories a day as it is. But i'm just trying to bulk up for this winter and lose the bodyfat come spring. The one main thing i ask is should i eat more than that? I mean should i eat everytime i feel i can fit more into my stomach? With how i eat now, i can eat around every 2 hours, and i do. Also i figured my diet up and its about 40%+ carbs, 30% fat, and 30% protein. Give or take on any given day. But any help i would appreciate. Thanks.

Jeremy

For bulking I would try to eat four larger meals this should raise your N2 levels over a 24 hour peroid. I would shoot for a diet approx 45% carbs 40% protein and 15% healthy fats. I also would not use a weight gain powder, most contain to much sugar. Get carbs from oatmeal, yams, dairy etc. 3500 is quite low as for calories jump to 4-4.5k. Also don't wory about consumeing to much protein in one sitting that unlikely to happen. Eat plenty of lean red meat, as it seems to be one of the important factors to muscular weight gain.

Lifts covered it all for you. Here is a breakdown of my typical offseason(bulking) diet. I do this 4 days a week, the four days that I train M,T,Th,FR, the other days I eat similar but cut back the carbs and may have a cheat meal or two:D I work on these days also from 10-8 that is why I train late at night. Also, I do cardio yearround, it works best for me, if you are a hardgainer you should probaly stay away from it.

Wake up 7:30
drink 30g whey shake and a small apple or orange
Do cardio from 8-8:30

9:00
Meal 1 10egg whites with 2 yolks, 1 slice canadian bacon, 1/2cup oatmeal and 1 cup shredded potatoes

11:30
Meal 2 50g protein powder(casein, egg, whey blend) blended with 1 cup oatmeal and 1 tblsp natty peanutbutter in 10 oz of 2%milk

2:00
Meal 3 10oz ground sirloin, 1 cup brown rice and vegetables(sometimes) I ain't going to lie, I hate veggies

4:30
Meal 4 Same as meal 2

7:00
Meal 5 10 oz chicken breasts, 1 large baked potatoe, veggies

8:30 Workout

10:00 Pwo shake 70g carbs, 50-60g whey protein

11:00 6 egg whites, 4 oz sirloin and 1/2 cup oatmeal and an apple or orange

12:00 bed

3:00 60g protein shake, I don't drink this unless I happen to wake up but for some reason I wake up at 3 almost every night and have been for years.

Now what is considered a lean red meat??? I eat a lot of chicken, turkey, and pork...are those also good meats too eat. And has anyone tried the bsn's mass stack or heard anything about it. O and thanks alot for the help you guys, i appreciate it.

I stick with ground round, ground sirloin basically for my lean red meats.Chicken breast, turkey(ground or breast fillets) and pork loin are good choices for meats, along with a variety of other meats, tuna, salmon, etc. Haven't heard much about Mass Stack, but I do use NO-xplode and I like it, made by the same company so maybe the mass stack is good also.
