Im pulling for B.J. instead of the muscle blanket this time around. I dont think he'll be able to smother his way to victory but it can very well go either way. Probly depends if B.j. climbed palm trees and surfed for his cardio again lol

true true..I just can recall some of his past fights that I watched being painfully boring because all he would do is take them down and do no real damage. I know he has a good record, but hes never fought bj penn

i think bj is the most talented fighter in the ufc the most naturaly talented bro.. now that he is fighting at such a lite weight he has no way of avoiding getting into shape.. when he faught welter weight or the same weight as hues he was carrying some xtra weight.. he actually looks a bit cut now.. it should be an exciting fite.. I would like to see wanderlie get a victory i dont really like keith jardeens style its kind of wierd.. I also think tito will get his ass kicked.. im sick of him every interview he does he starts out with you either love me our hate me.. Im sick of it who cares..I lost respect for him when he faught ken shamrock and epic three times.. that was retarted..

I do agree that he will be in the best cardio shape that he can, that still isn't good enough if he goes into the 4th or 5th against Sherk. BJ needs the sub early.
 
BJ Penn has so much heart and skill to go with it. That guy never burns out, he's a real bad ass fighter, never runs out of gas and can take a beating and come back and whoop ass, I'm goin 4 BJ Penn all day.:69::low:BJ

I have to disagree with you.. He does get gassed.. He should of been able to put huges away in there second fight.. I think he had a triangle or something on hughes but couldn;t hold it. The next round he looked like he was drugged or something he was soo gassed.. Im hoping that he comes in tip top shape if he does i dont think sherk has a chance unless he knocks him out in the first round.

OK so I was 8 out of 11

I think sherk attempted two half ass take downs against penn just to get jabbed to death. Pretty boring fight until the flying knee. I don't know wtf happened at the end but the fight was clearly stopped due to the bell and not from a tko. I don't think that was explained to sherk and he thought it was a tko. The same thing basically happened to nakamura.

Thiago Silva was almost stopped in 10 seconds then bounced back, and Wandy beat the brains out of Jardine. I hope they match Wandy up with somebody along the lines of the african assasin or Thiago Silva.

Yeah man I noticed that about Sherk too..Im sure hell say he messed his knee up in training or something in a few weeks. Even if he got Penn down though, I wonder if he wouldnt have been in just as much trouble. I was wondering what happened at the end too..I thought he was saved by the bell but then they stopped it? He seemed like he was starting to recover enough to defend himself but I really dont know. Im sure it wouldve ended pretty much the same way regardless. I thought Wandy killed Jardine at first, why the hell did he let him get inside like that..same shit that happened with Alexander I guess. He needed that win though I was glad. Id love to see him and Thiago fight next..Sokodjou or whatever would be sweet
 
it was just bad reffing imo, he was no doubt rocked badly

I hope they don't match Wandy up with Lyoto, that guy is the future champ.
