Update on how I'm doing

Well, today was a big day at the gym for me..lol..I did a leg workout. I did DB squats to parallel with 15 lb weights- woohoo!!

I am actually very excited!! Plus I did leg ext and lying ham curls. All very light weight of course- 3 sets of each, 12 reps. I did cardio for 20 min on the bike first.

And my knee feels great :)

My shoulder has been doing ok, except it is paining today. I can't have a totally pain free day..lol..since yesterday my neck has been SUPER stiff- really unusual. I had a massage today and that helped a lot.

After I left the massage, it dawned on me why it was so stiff :stupido2: I should have an L painted on my forehead!!! On Monday I tried rack deads. I figured that it wouldn't bother my shoulder or my knee. So, instead of just sticking with something super light, I tried 220 for 2 sets of 4. No prob. I was happy!!! BUT not a good idea seeing I haven't lifted frig all in ages.

Anyway, I am switching to BB for everything for now. Looking back, my injured shoulder had always been weak and has the tendency to "give out" unexpectedly. I got a real scare awhile back, it gave out, my arm kinda went backwards, but I managed to drop the DB before I hurt myself. But I may have hurt myself and not realized it.

That's my story at the moment!!! All is good :)
 
good to hear you are doing good. Keep it up IG and you'll be back at it 100% in no time
