Sometimes it's hard to face the truth. For some it's "I'm not in debt" or " I don't drink too much", but fore me it's "I'm not that overweight!"

The reality is when you look through the lens of the camera, the pics don't lie.

Recent serious medical issues throughout my family has awaken me to get my ass in gear.

My aim is to get motivation and honest opinions about my physical appearance and use that as motivation to improve my health. You are not going to hurt my feelings, nor will you flatter me with bullshit I can smell a mile away.

The pics are more for me than others, but please be honest about what you see so I can be honest with myself.

Your main focus is to lose bodyfat.....you'll look and feel better. Keep the diet and cardio in check....results will come....just a matter of time.

hahah i like you little arrows and stuff man... i used to be really over weight...

look around on this page and pick up a low carb diet, cardio routine, and a good lifting program... put it to use.... stay dedicated...

set yourself small goals... like loose 2 lbs per week... you will reach those goal more often with small goals and thus be more driven to reach your larger goals...

most people think getting in shape, loosing weight, and looking good are hard to do... they are severely wrong man... see they lack something called dedication... and they are absolutely right it is hard without it....stay focused on you small goals man...hit me up for info anytime...
 
The sad part is I know how to lose weight, gain muscle, and eat right. The problem is I just don't. Not to worry, I'm hitting it hard as of yesterday.

Diet is 6 small meals a day, cutting out all the crap (fast food, candy, even ice cream). Higher on the proteins, low fat, low cals..blah blah blah.

Cardio is going to be at least 5 days a week. Precor for 30-45 min at first; some days, others will be running 3-5 miles with some speed work incorporated throughout the week. Want to train for some 5K and 10K races. Used to run back in the day.
 
Right now you look like the "average" man. Sorry to say that. You're not TERRIBLY out of shape and you know, it's not going to be long before your stomach shrinks and the "muffin top" disappears. You have a good amount of quad muscle which is nice to see. Most men get the belly and it's held up with bird legs.

You will lean out nicely with the 6 meals a day and adequate cardio. Continue lifting also, you want a nice hard physique to appear once the bf is gone.

Don't be too hard on yourself, you see that you need improvement and you're doing something about it. :)

I have to get in shape since the wifey lost 40 lbs from her pre prego weight.

Not fair how she gets so skinny
