So my gf has basically been planning to buy a car for sometime now. She got everything and order so now was the time. She had her mind set on a 2005 TrailBlazer. Not just any TB, but the 7 seater! Lord only knows why lol. Anyway...we started the process(more like me lol), got a ton of information on the car and the cost, features wanted ex. We went car shopping on Saturday, after leaving a few dealers 1 was nice enought to draw us in(pore guy didn't know what he was getting into). He showed us what they had in stock, and non of them where near the price we were willing to pay. He went on to mention all the extra BS they had and so on and so forth. I basically pulled him aside and gave him a sheet of paper from their website explaining everything we wanted with what features. We were content with the price online, so I told him, thats what we want. He said "sure we can get you that, let me see what we have around the area". He found one exactly as we wanted, same color and everything. Only problem was it was an hour away...not my problem lol. I told him if he wanted to sell me a car he'd have to figure out how to get it and not charge me any extra for it. He said he'd pick it up himself and have it by Tuesday. I had him print me out a sheet with the specks of the car and had him write down the cost of the car with his sig. lol. Tuesday rolled around. My gf got a call...Typical, we are having problems getting the car blah blah blah. They basically started to try to push their instock stuff on to my gf. My gf was feeling a little pressured so I called and talked to him. After 2 days of this, he called back with the same crap. I called him and told him that he would either have the car by Thursday, or we where walking period! He said, Mr.**** I'll get it for you personally. I hung up the phone. WE got a call the next day, and he had it...We went in and first thing out of the guys mouth was...there is a little problem. There are extra features on this car which is going to run you a few more grand. I looked at him and said, no this isn't the way this is going to work. You quoted me a price, you knew what you where getting, If it had anything extra or not, that's not my problem. It's yours. His face turned colors..no joke lol. He said, let me see what I can do. He walked over to his GM and they where going back and forth for a while. He came back and said, we will give it to you for the price we said. I said good! NOw the fun part. the original Loan was had like an 8%APR I was like WTF is that! I know how her credit is (credit report), so that wasn't going to fly either. AT this point they handed me over to the GM hahahaha. He told me the cost per month and told him we where not paying that. I told him, give me a few min. to talk about this. He walked away and I basically told my gf that it was way to much, she agreed but wanted the car. I told her, that they were going to lower it as soon as they came back. The guy came back 5min later and said, I was on the phone with the bank and they said they can do better for you, 6% APR. That was more like it! We wrapped up the whole thing, and ended up getting the car for a dam good price. I had a good time :devil1:
