why i love sundays

im always off on sundays, and the wife seems to work almost all of them lately

so i love sundays cuz little oz and i get to spend some quality time together

today he help daddy make blueberry pancakes and turkey bacon

we played blocks, looked at squirrels in the back yard (where he wanted to shoot them all), filled the bird feeder, watched Nemo and mickey mouse club house, the best part is i fell asleep during nemo and he woke me up by stroking my face saying "daddy stop noring"

he is napping right now

you just have to love the little things in life
 
I wish my kids were still young enough to like me. They start again after the teen years I have noticed.
 
I'm right there with ya bro, Me and my little one has been in the kitchen most of the day cooking,We made homeaid cookies, have a roast in the oven for Momma when she gets off and are about to make some fresh bread. All this in between watching Spongebob on and off all day..Now she's trying to talk me into going out and setting a wire trap for the rabbits in the front yard, She snagged two of my carrots that was going in my roast for bait. lol Your right you can't help help love the little things in life..
 
Mine are at the tall lanky age where they're not so cute and know everything. Lol

That's great bro, I envy you.

I was engaged once and the girl and I lost our child when she was almost 4 months in..I still think about it an awful lot.

Kids are the last thing in this world that haven't been corrupted and they're the best.

ive been there with the loss of a child--ive actually lost two in my life

only time heals that wound but its something you will never forget, thats why this little turd maker sitting on the couch next to me watching elmo is so important

alot of the time in life we as Men find ourselves to occupied ,to busy or to distracted to find time for Quality time in life with our Kids or wives you all know what I mean by work being to stressful ,Gym time , or just the simple things that take our time away .
Our Kids ,our children are our lives , our future and the ones who desire and need our attention and love .
I have found in life that even the smallest of things that we do for our kids they remimber , My son remimbers things we did 8 or 9 years ago and smiles when talking about them, Deer hunting , fishing , going for a ride in vette , Ya see it doesnt matter what you do with them or for them when there young because they appreciate it and hold it close to there little hearts, .
Our kids when there young dont care what kind of car we drive or how big our houses are or anything for that matter , they strive and desire for there attention from us .

you just have to love the little things in life...

We had our two grandsons over for the weekend, Saturday after leg training until a little while ago.
I love seeing them come and then love to see them go.
They wear me out! I need a vacation day to get over watching them overnight.
 
I can relate to you guys that have lost children we lost a daughter ourself and it's something you will never ever forget.. This is one reason there's such a big difference in the age of my children we were told we could never have anymore and if so when the wife got pregnant after her tubes were tied it fucked me up!! We just knew we had our kids almost raised when my youngest one (6) was born her brother was 13 and sister was 14 and talk about a surprise!! I was in shock and really didn't want another child after loosing our 3rd one, then along came my little Josie and I've never been the same!! I cherish every minute of everyday I get with her and even though it sucked bad to get hurt and be out of work the last 4 years but I've been able to see her grow daily somethng i wasn't able to do with my others..
