Just got back from "B" Champs, where my daughter competed in her first winter swimming league.
She's 11 and accomplished the following results:
1st in the Medley Relay,
2nd in the Freestyle Relay,
3rd in the 50 freestyle,
5th in 50 Backstroke,
and 8th in the 100 Indivual Medley (IM).
This is the first season she swam 50's and 100's.
She wasn't too pleased because the pool was slow (too warm), but after we saw the final results both of us are exstatic.
Guess she deserves that new Valentine's Day outfit after all! SWEET!!!
BTW most of the individual events had over 8 heats with 8 swimmers in each.
