Just got home from my show and I won my class and the overall in the juniors.I didnt do open because this was my second show.I won my show last year as well. After the show a lot of people and judges told me Im an open competitor but i did the right thing by doing juniors for more stage experience. They said when I came out they knew who the winner was. That made me feel really good.I will get some pics up as soon as I can.

Good job bro.I'm giving it a go in a couple months. What was the hardest part about your first shows?

way to go man... what do you think helped you prepare the most?

The hardest part is the diet.It really gets to you after a while (it did me anyway).I love to eat and I dont mean junkfood but just carbs.I feel awful on low carbs even when there at 200g a day I feel like crap.So i think the diet and just getting mentally prepared is the hardest.

Just wanting to win bro.I hate losing and everyone here at home expects so much of me and that makes me push harder.I didnt want to let myself or anybody else down.I just kicked it into high gear even when i didnt feel like it.

Congratulations Fred! I know how much discipline that takes. Even though I never competed, I used to keep myself in near contest shape when I was younger, and always stayed well below 200 carbs!
