So you can only have 5 supplements as your base, what 5 and only 5 do you choose and why?

Mine would be:

Fish/flax oil- Rich in essential fatty acids.

Multi vitamin/mineral- Vitamins & minerals play vital roles in the body's daily functions

creatine- Although Im a non responder, these new souped up creatines work well for me and creatine goes behind muscle hydration, plays a role in neurological functions, etc.

ECA/Thermogenic- For cutting season and that burst of energy.

whey protein powder- Obvious reasons. Essential for muscle growth and recovery.

I'm really not that big on supplements. I take Protein powder, but other than that I rely on food for vitamins, minerals, ect.

(1) Protein Powder

(2) Multi Vitmain

(3) Creatine

(4) ECA

This is all I have ever taken supplement wise.

1) Multi
2) Carb/Protein pre/during workout drink
3) Fish Oil
4) Whey/Casein blend
5) Ephedrine HCL

5: glutamine

1. protein - i think this is a must. i'm sure everyone will agree.

3. creatine - i always get 10 pounds when i use creatine, which is nice. i don't keep it of course.
4. glutamine - good for recovery etc imo
5. vitamin c - any time i'm feeling sick, i start on the 1000mg vitamin c. i don't like to get sick, it interferes with my training.

1) EFA's - mix of both flax and fish
2) Multi - for overral health
3) Vit. E - higher doeses of Vitamin E help me with muscle soreness and recovery, strong antioxidant
4) Protein - no shit eh?
5) Vitamin C - I always take it, i never get sick and it keeps me healthy, i can tell the difference when i dont take my 5g/day

ALA.

have yet to use r-ALA due to the increase in cost.. and money can be tight for me sometimes. but recently comparing overall costs in the long run, the r-ala is not much more expensive, so Ive been considering finally giving it a go.

what about yourself Easto.. ?

I have some regular ALA sitting here waiting to get used. I was going to save it for cutting season, but you never know when I'll get it out.

Where do you get your ALa from? I some some Anabolical ALA right now. I wouldn't mind trying 1fast400.com rALA in the future as well.

I use ALA 365days a year. not only for its insulin mimicing effects, but a very powerful antioxidant and great for keeping your immune system up!

I use Sportlabs ALA...if your in the states DCN has awesome deals on it. Im in Canada therefore purchase from canadian companys.

I'm in Canada as well.

I would use Sport Lab ALA (to support Biggie and TX's store), but they are only 100mg caps. The ones I got from anabolical are 500mg/cap which is what I was looking for.

hmm 500mg cap would indeed be more convient.
how does the overall price compare vs 100mg caps?
