15 Biggest Controversies and shocking moments in bodybuilding history

People talk about Arnie winning the '80 O as being corrupt, when in fact Franco winning the '81 O is THEE most absurd decision in O history. No legs WHATSOEVER and shouldn't have even been in the top 5 - the biggest disgrace in bb IMO. :wackit:

It's too bad that, not too long after Mike Mentzer died, his twin brother died as well.
I knew Bob Hoffman didn't like the Weiders, but I never read about the Communism thing. Probably true.
I knew Bob for 6 years before he died in 1986. He knew a whole slew of Russian weight-lifters, trainers and coaches.
He probably got that information from the source.

Mentzer never said he should have won just that Arnold shouldn't have.

Mentzer placing fourth was a joke and he spirralled down from there ending with Meth addiction and death, seeing his late vids where he was training others he looked terrible.

If he'd have kept the shape he had in 1980 he woulda won a Mr O sooner or later but when you get kicked a raw deal like that its hard to go back for more

The '72 O shouldn't have even made the list. It REALLY wasnt that controversial...not even back at the time. Either could have won as both looked awesome in their own unique way. Sergios posing sucked...he didn't know how to pose to show off his awesome back to its fullest. He lacked the seperation that Arnold had. However, his overall God-gifted shape was unmatched (even to this day if you ask me). It was merely an era that we had 2 of THEE most gifted bodybuilders ever...had Arnold never been, Sergio would have won numeorus more O's fosho. :)

Contrarily, Franco winning the '81 O is in a league of its own! :wackit:

Damn didn't even notice Titus wasn't on the list. That was a big miss.
