I found some old photos and thought I would post up a contrast of two years ago at 220lbs and just a couple of months ago at 250lbs.
This was 2011 at about 220-225lbs.

looking solid, Damn good for a man your age!! I bet there's very few men your age that look like that or even close!!

I know this thread really old but I just got here so it's new to me :) You look great for any age. I'm going to be 49 shortly and it's extremely inspirational to see us older guys still kicking ass! Great job! Any recent pics, buf?

FEBRUARY 2015, 254 lbs
If anyone can resize this, please do.

Damn buf, you actually broke down and posted up. I'm cruising around the site, trying to catch up and ran across this. Looking solid at 250-ish. I'm no MD, but that hernia is screaming. Can you feel it / bother you?

I had mine (very similar to what you show here) repaired back in 2008. Outpatient procedure and I was up and around 2 days later. Not 100%, but not laid out either. I was 100% within 2 weeks or so. laproscopic is the way to go, minimally invasive, minimal scarring. I have 3 slits about ?" in length, 1 under my navel and 2 on either side of my waist. They rarely get noticed when at the beach or pool, can't really see em.
