So I am required to take a 9 panel test like every few days or so due to some trouble that I am in. The program doesnt allow for me to take any supplements at all. So if a 9 panel test would show up for traces due to a supplement i would get in major trouble. I jsut started taking protein again, and they wont even let me take that, however they wont know unless the PO catches it in my place. Do you think that epistane would show up?

Im not familiar really with 9 panel drug tests, but I would assume if its probationary or anything that it would not include a seperate test for steroids, unless that was involved with the trouble youre in? And seriously you cant take protein? As far as I know.. there would be no way for them to even kow you were as far as a test. I would say epistane would be a no go. I would look up the guidelines and procedures for that testing in youre state if you didnt already. I'll try to find something

As far as everything is saying it just for Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphemine, Marijuana(THC), Methadone, Opiates, Phencyclidine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, and Tricyclics.

Heres the cutoff levels:

SYMBOL TARGET DRUG CONC.
THC MARIJUANA 50 ng/ml
COC COCAINE 300 ng/ml
PCP PHENCYCLIDINE 25 ng/ml
MOR OPIATES 2000 ng/ml
MET METHAMPHETAMINE 1000 ng/ml
MTD METHADONE 300 ng/ml
AMP AMPHETAMINE 1000 ng/ml
BAR BARBITURATES 300 ng/ml
BZO BENZODIAZEPINES 300 ng/ml

Thanks bud i appreciate it. I have done some research also. i know there is no way to test for protein its just if my PO sees it on a house visit I could get in trouble. They never test for steroids but i know people that have shown up for traces of something just because they drank some goofy tea that had valerian root in it they said. Who knows whats what everyone in this drug court program is real sketchy. I just wanted to make sure the chemical compound of epistane might now mimic that of an opiate or something you knwo.

As Iron pointed out, no it will not "mimic an opiate" or anything else on your list of 9 categories.

HOWEVER, if your P.O. gives a crap about you taking "protein", I wouldn't take crap!!

He/she sounds like they got a hard on to nail you on "something/anything". Protein? WTF!

If you even remotely look like you work out or might take gear, forget the epistane. He/she may try to nail you to the cross and test you for gear w/o you knowing it. Again, just saying this b/c I have never in my life heard of someone being monitored for protein use - technically, it's not even a supplement, it's a food. :splat:

I agree. I wouldn't even risk it, I mean if your gonna get in trouble for taking protein who knows what else they can get you for. Just eat, it's the best supplement out there anyway.

Get onto your lawyer and file for human rights abuses, seriously, if you're not allowed to ingest a powdered milk derived product then there's something seriously wrong with the system!
Also, I'm not from the U.S. but wouldn't testing you for something without your knowledge be unconstitutional?
